Board MemberThe ONLS Advisory Board serves as a strategic advisory body dedicated to offering expert guidance and support to Our Newham Learning & Skills. The Board is composed of representatives from partner organisations within the London Borough of Newham, educational institutions, corporate sectors and various external partners. These individuals bring diverse perspectives and expertise to ensure the continued growth and success of our programmes, fostering collaboration and innovation across all sectors.

Socio-Economic Development Manager
Professional Background/Experience:
Zen Mumtaz, Socio-Economic Development Manager at Lendlease, has over 12 years’ experience working within the built environment sector as a Social Value professional spanning across both Construction and Development leading ESG, Community Development, Social Value and Socio-economic strategies. Driven by a passion for sustainable urban regeneration and social mobility and committed to creating inclusive spaces that generate long-term socio-economic benefits. Overseeing social impact across the Lendlease development portfolio, including two major urban regeneration projects in East London: Silvertown in the Royal Docks and Stratford Cross on the QEOP, Stratford.
Zen is a trustee for Inspire Education Business Partnership and also a member of the London Prosperity Board, an innovative cross-sector partnership established by the Institute of Global Prosperity (IGP) to rethink what prosperity means for London.

Senior Management Consultant
Professional Background/Experience:
A seasoned management consultant working within the further education sector, I specialise in quality and curriculum, and support project delivery. I started my career as a biology teacher and soon moved into STEM team management and then later into senior management. Aside from my experience in education, I have worked at board level with charities supporting their strategic oversight and sustainability efforts.
Most recently I have become a Co-founder and COO of a software company, called Lycerix, that specialises in digital solutions from software development to AI integration and design.
